Dear Ms. Sciotti,

You literally have been one of the greatest role models of my life. You started tutoring me back in my sophomore year, and little did you know, I was going through a really hard time. Many thoughts were going through my mind back then, I didn’t like school, I didn’t have a job, and always had parents asking me why I can’t have grades like my brother. That kind of stuff after a while really gets to you. Ever since you started tutoring me, it was like there was a spark. You don’t realize how much you changed me since that December. I just wanted to let you know, you literally saved my life. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

the best math teacher i ever had!! you helped me pass geometry because you sit with any student until they understand what is being taught and instead of teaching fast you teach at a speed where every student can learn and i appreciate you and your teaching abilities so much because you helped me so much and when i told you i was falling behind with my new teacher you gave me your card just incase i had any questions so you could help me solve them and learn the material better!

I wanted to take a couple minutes and let you know how thankful we are that N*** has you this semester. N***  has struggled in Math his whole academic career, such as I did. My husband has had to spend countless hours trying to help N***. This year it is different, N*** enjoys Geometry and is not intimidated. We owe this all to you and can't thank you enough. N*** states he is comfortable with you and not afraid to ask questions. N*** is doing the best he ever has in a math class, and is even able to give my husband tips! N*** thinks the world of you ("favorite teacher ever") and hopes that he can continue on a positive trend. It was clearly evident while meeting with you that you enjoy teaching, and being an educator myself, I can see why students love you!

He has established a bond with you and seems to understand your lessons/lectures....it just clicks! I know it was awhile back, but you had mentioned if he fell behind or needed extra help in geometry you had tutoring available. He understood your teaching style and was able to maintain a solid B. I asked him if I could try and find him some help and he asked me to please ask you first. He knows and trusts you. He feels comfortable with you. People continually let us down. But he knows you have his back and he knows you are genuine and kind.
